Same place they have always been. Whys that? Still seen a lot more platinums around my area than any other model. I don't see what your problem is with people owning the platinum. You give me the impression your a bit of a green eyed monster! Not sure what your trying to prove with your poll? But perhaps you should browse some more popular Ford forums and so that you can educate your self with life outside of FTE. Just because people in your area cant afford a platinum it don't mean that people in my area cant! But carry on with your poll as some of us have more important things to do like make money and live a life. 
My lariat was as loaded in 07 as your platinum is now....so don't say we can't afford a platinum if we wanted........and i don't have a problem with those who drive one......BUT.....I and a few others listened to you say 4 of 5 were platinums and no one was buying the other trim lines.....but there are no numbers to back that up......

One thing I will Bsimmer is that you always notice the vehicle that is just like yours or even close. Like back when my dad bought his expedition we started noticing all these white and gold e.b. expys. You would think thats all Ford made. But i agree move on, has anyone thought to remake the poll and have it say just wanted to see poll, that way it doesn't affect the polling.

Mine is an XL standard cab. Couldn't be happier. It's quiet, roomy, goes down the road straight. In short, it's a pleasure to drive. As to quietness, it's quieter than my pretty much decked out Cougar was when I bought it brand new in '97.

I do think the Plat is the best looking truck, but it is too nice for me.

Bsimmer we live in the same area and the only plats i have seen are sitting on dealers lots. In fact after talking with all of the dealers in the area they have only sold 3. One to you, one to your buddy down the street and one other. So please stop saying that there are only Plats being sold here. I am sorry but you are wrong.

How big of an area are you talking about? In Roanoke there are not 8 dealers that sell the 2009 F150. There are 2, and those 2 had only sold 3 plats as of last week, I know because I personally stopped to talk with them while trying to work out which trim I want. The silver one may have just been bought from Magic City (they had one on their lot last week). Personally I have seen more of the other models on the road and being sold off Dealer lots than the Plats.
If you don't mind listing the 8 dealers that are in the area so I can go check them out to see what they have on the lot I would appreciate it. (I already know about Shelor, but they don't have a great selection).

I did have a list ford sent me of the dealers in this area. I think they are worked out in a 30-40 mile radius of my area but i will try and dig them out. I think the ford website lets you choose the area you want to look in. I didnt even check out shelor as the manager of berglund is a familey friend so we ordered with them.

I would also like to be able to see the leather bench seat in the lariat so I am not just ordering something blindly. THe dealers here dont have either.

I didnt even realise the lariat cam with the bench seat as an option. Im surprised berglund aint got a lariat with 18's on. Last time i checked by there they had 20+ 09's there. Magic city got a few but not that many.

Come on you know you need the cooled seats. I used mine for the first time the other day when it was about 65 out and i was working hard outside and they was so nice to have on. Cant wait to use them in the summer. Im surprised burgland aint got the model with 18's as they have a great selection compaired to most places.
