and on the floor in the garage is the 3" AS block (replaces the 2" OEM block).
in the pic below, you can see how my 2.5" sits dead level. Hopefully if I ever install the rear blocks, I'll be at a 1" rake again. My truck sits kinda butt heavy when I have a full tank of gas, and dead level when it's 1/2 tank or less
I used to like the whole exactly level look...but for some reason I want a little more factory rake back...that's why I bought those 3" blocks...almost 5 months ago
Thats how i want my truck. It nose dives way to much for me. But i may have run into a snag. I was looking over the warrenty and it says modification of any kind to vehicle will void the warrenty. But the only covered components are Engine, tranny, and transfer case. I dont see how a leveling kit could void a warrenty. Maybe the 315's but not a leveling kit.
I finally ordered my auto springs yesturday but i have a question. How did yall get the 350 ft lbs of torque? My torque wrench only goes to 150. Would an electric impact torque that high?
I did get auto springs. I really like how it turned out. It took me about 2 hours but i took my time and made sure everything was torqued. I'll get pics up when i wash it.
and the truck in your avatar appears to be leaning downhill
HAHA I know. I also have to add it may be wise when installing the kit to get a 2x4 and a crowbar. They dont tell you that in the instructions. We had to use the 2x4 so that the ball joint stud wouldnt spin. And the crowbar to get the strut back in place. And as strong as those struts were i dont think i'll need any anytime soon. Thanks Tylus and everyone else for all the help! I plan on washing it friday when it warm down here so i'll get pics up this weekend.
