Question programmer help needed

Ok i know this question has popped up on this forum before and there haven't been any really good answers. Finally to my question, does anyone know if any company makes a programmer for pre 1999 f150s? and can someone tell me why no one makes one (well that i can find)

If you mean for the '97 and '98's everyone who makes them for the '99+ makes htem for the '97's. Most of them also make them for the '92-'96's, although the OBDI stuff isn't as easy to tune as the OBDII is.

Your truck is OBDII. I like the tuner that I am using. You can take a look at it here. Good luck!

All the major makers make a tuner for that truck, I am currently using one of the older Superchips handheld tuners. They just don't do all the speedometer stuff on the '97s since they have an analog speedo/odo.

Should be able to. I have the Superchips 1715 Max Microtuner and I like it a lot, especially for the transmission.
