hey guys was wondering if any one knows how much horse power i should be kicking out on a nearly stock 5.4 all info in my sig, the only engine mods are K and N cold air intake, throttle body spacer wich was a waste of money and vortec dual exaust the reason i ask is because on my scan gauge i was checking horse power and was not sure what it should be
My Scan Gauge shows 352 HP on my 5.4 stock?? 01 XL 7700 Bi-Fuel on propane. Have not tried it yet on gas. Road conditions right now are not safe enough. There is one thing I am trying to find out about this truck and that is it was used as a ghost vehicle
on the 401, so do not know if it is any different than a reg 5.4 Triton. The sticker under the hood shows a new load for the computer. According to ford this 5.4 should be 280hp
ok i guess i have my Xgauge command wrong first i knew i had it wrong cuz it was saying like 2000 hp when i got on it now it only says about 150 and i thought that was wrong also thanks for the reply btw what command did you use one your xgauge
This is what I used as X-Gauge codes. Does not put the headings over the proper codes.
I am not sure if I can put the site in here for the whole x-guage coding.
thanks guys bigralso thats the same values i have in mine so i don;t know what the deal is i will run it today and see what it looks like thanks alot for the replys
Come on people, in order for the scan gauge to calculate your power, you need tell it exactly how much your truck weighs at the time you run the test. This means that you will have to weight the truck on a scale. If you try to guess what the truck weighs you will be way off.
