I'm looking at at a pair of OEM running boards on E-bay for my '03 F250. The ones I'm considering are listed for an '05-'08 super cab. They have a more square like end compared to the rounded ends on mine. Should these boards mount up to my truck? Mine mount in four places and these mount in three, but both are OEM and for the same body style. I can get this pair for about $160 shipped and like how the factory boards protect the rocker panel a bit. I'm missing my driver side step and starting to wear the top outside edge of the seat from getting in, so I'd like to get something ASAP. Thanks for any info guys.
You got it, those are the ones. I don't want to get into drilling new holes so I'll prolly look into a different set. Might go with a set of Westin that look like the OEM ones I have now. I'm going to look around a bit more and order a set this weekend. Thanks for the info Furian, and I'll post the ones I end up ordering.
On my '99 S/C I first added the the running boards sim. to to the ones you are looking at, pre'04. I was wondering the same until I got them under the truck. Since then I removed them and added a set of oem crome tubes off a 4x4, they only have three locations. I was surprised that they worked. Also take a ride over to your local Ford dealership and see if there is a set on a truck @ the lot and check it out!

If you're looking to save a buck in the process, remember you can move the mounting brackets on the running board rather than your truck. Just have them line up with the mounting bracket positioning you presently have. It shouldn't take more than half an hour to do and will probably save you quite a bit.
Hope it helps,

So the brackets are adjustable like that? On my factory ones they are plastic molded right to the board, but the pic in the listing I see the brackets are metal. Wish they would show the underside of them. Anyway if it would be an easy adjustment to make them fit I'll prolly go for these.

They look to be the same brackets as on the tube-type running boards. I did a post on raising them a while ago. I don't know if that will help with these though. You may want to ask for a pic of the under side. You might be able to put new thread-serts in for the adjustment if that's what is used, or you may want to try a drill-down on a parts site to see if its illustrated.
I have a set of black running boards on my SuperCab. I prefer the chrome nerf bars (tube style), but I only like the OEM style step bars because all of the aftermarket ones I've seen only have two mounting points. The OEM ones have three mounting points, and from just an asthetics point of view, I like the three mount bars better.
Keep looking in the classifieds section of any Super Duty/PSD forum you frequent. You'll find a set someone is selling.
It took me a bit of time (I wasn't in a hurry), but I finally found a set of steps and will be pulling my running boards off and replacing them with the used, OEM bars I just bought.

That is what I did with mine ... saved me a ton of money ... luckily I had a friend that had did it on his before so it was really a breeze for me, or actually a breeze for him ... haha

Those will fit and bolt up no problem with no modifications. I put a set of OE 08' plastic running boards on my dads 03' CC. Just make shure to get the proper length boards.... SC boards for a SC, CC boards for a CC and etc.
Update....I found the OEM driver side running board I needed to match my passenger on Craigslist. Paid a little more than I wanted to but I only have to put this one on and not even mess with the other side. It's being shipped out on Monday. Thanks guys for the info and replies, I appreciate it. I'm stoked now. I've had the truck almost four months and never had the driver side running board. Sounds weird... but feels good knowing the exterior is finally going to be complete. No more missing parts. I put the lower valance on the front bumper this week and just needed this.
