Does anyone know where to get a new emblem for my grille? Long story short, I installed a billet grille a couple of years ago and now I am ready to go back to OEM. I found my old grille minus the 4 clips and the emblem. Any help would be appreciated either with a source or even a part number. Thanks
i know the dealer back home gives me fleet discount on parts...but the dealer where i go to college at wanted 95 bucks for the ford replacement filter for my 6.0 when the dealer back home wanted 35...and the dealer here accidentally quoted me what the dealer back home was going to charge me for the part which i guess was the going rate and tried to give me an air cleaner for a carburated car to cover his butt, but he tried to give me some lame story and his problem was he gave me the part number over the phone..but to make a long story short when your a captive audience dealers rip you off bad (dealers do bate and switches who would have thought)
patrickke - the only problem with the grille is the tabs on the bottom are broken.
But they have been that way for two years and have not affected it. It is on the truck right now and still looks good. I am just looking for a change.

Compare the prices of the part numbers you bought at that so-called fleet discount with what's listed on FTEpartsguy.com site.
If someone sez they are giving you a discount, take that with a LARGE grain of salt, because some dealers jackup the MSRP 20-25% (or more), then give you a 10 or 15% discount.
FACT: On computerized parts invoices, if it sez CUSTOMER TYPE 00, you are getting hosed!
A glance at my signature will tell y'all why I know this.
btw: When you type Ford part number(s) into websites, remove any spaces or hyphens, type 'em like this: F81Z8213AB.
Uh huh...quite true, but when you buy from FTE Parts Guy, you are getting a discount off the ACTUAL Ford MSRP.
Most dealers jack up the prices today, so a local dealer may want 30 or 35, or who knows how many bucks for it!
I think what he is trying to say is most likely if you add shipping to Ed's FTE member price, then it will likely be higher then MSRP so he should check with his local dealer and see if they are charging MSRP before buying from Ed. Ed will usually tell you the same thing, at least he has told me that in the past.
Ed is a great guy to deal with though, and I pretty much always check with him first on any OEM parts I buy. I also recommend him as often as I can.
