Super Liner vs. Line-X

Super Liner vs. Line-X
Anybody ever heard of this Super Liner? I didnt read the article, but heard from a buddy of mine that they did a shoot-out in a magazine with all of the liners, and these two rated up top.. I was gung-ho to get a Line-X spray in done, but if this Super Liner is all its cracked up to be, its supposedly the best on the market.. As far as getting one done, that may be another story.. I've never even heard of it, much less seen a shop that does it.. There are alot of Line-X retailers out there, and I'm sure a few of you have comments to be made about Line-X, or maybe even this new Super Liner.. anyone?

Super Liner vs. Line-X
I personally haven't seen the Super Liner, but I have an Armorthane "Tuff Stuff" Liner in my truck and I love it. About the only thing I don't like about the Line-X product is that it feels alot harder and brittle than some of the other liners out there. Just my $.02.

Super Liner vs. Line-X
Our work trucks use the Line-X system and it seems to be somewhat like a textured anti-slip coating with a hard surface. I personally bought the Rhino-Liner. It is hard rubber in feel and can be nicked(by sharp ski edges in my case). It is also somewhat slippery compared to the Line-X. however, the Rhino-Liner can be color-matched to any body color you want. Since I had the bed rails done, this was an important consideration on my part.

Super Liner vs. Line-X
Line-X did my '95 4X4 F-150 and the day I picked it up I had to carry a load of 1/2 inch rebar back to the construction site. We were all careful seeing as how the stuff was new and when I got back and unloaded I purposely tried to mar the surface with the rebar and lo and behold nothing would touch it. You couldn't see any marks even gouging at it on purpose with the bolt cutter hacked end of the bar.

Super Liner vs. Line-X
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-Nov-01 AT 01:16 PM (EST)]Yes, I have heard of SuperLiner. Actually, I'm about to have one installed in my truck. They have a web site, I would recommend checking them out. It has some good info. on the different types of bed liners and the processes/chemicals the different manufacturers use. I've compared SuperLiner with SpeedLiner and Rhino Liner, and SuperLiner is more appealing to me. I looked at a Rhino liner that had been installed for 3 years and it was faded and chalky. I then looked at a SuperLiner that had been installed for 3 years and it still shined like new. The fellow that is going to install mine said he used to install SpeedLiner but changed to SuperLiner after a few years, primarly because he felt it had the best UV protection. SuperLiner can also be color matched.
