If you can find a copy of true blue trucks I wrote a article for them on recovering a dash. I have a 66 I did it for. It's not to hard to do and doesn't take too much to do. Mainly some vinyl, upostery glue and paitence. Cracks can be filled in by silicone. I have had mine redone for at leastt two years and it still looks the same. Check out my pictures I think I have some of it in them.
i have a blue dash for the 80-86 truck the only thing is the area where the speaker is the foam is real thin but there are no holes or cracks in the dash. i dont have a camera to send pics on pc but could text you one if you want. also where you located give me a call if interested.
I live in the same town as their Florida warehouse,so I got mine the next day.I'll likely order alot of parts from them for my F100,since I won't have to pay shipping, and they can't screw me over, since I can just drive over there and have the problem fixed.lol.I consider myself lucky.
Hey where at in Florida? I also live right near our FL depot.
I've looked at all these links and I've done a lot of looking around myself but I still cant find a decent replacement. I hate the idea of a pad or cover of any kind and its way to far gone to be repaired. Anyone have any other ideas? I love my 86, just dont love the crumbly dust that comes when you touch the dash
