I recently have heard of a throttle body spacer for EFI motors that supposedly increase power and torque. I have a 93 5.0 and would like to have more of both. Wouldn't we all. If any one has heard of these items I would appreciate hearing from you. SR
I have heard a lot about spacers as well, my friend has one in his dakota and he loves it. I know that Jeg's and Summit, and all of those other catalogs have some in there. They are about one hundred bucks. Does anyone know if one is better than another, or if they are all about the same?

wouldnt a spacer only be good to a Throttle Body Injected motor(or carb) the way i undestand it is that they alow the fuel and air to mix better, making more power, but if u put one on an EFI motor all the throttle body does is let air into the motor, so if you put a spacer in it that is just a longer way for the air to go. someone correct me if i am worng. Just my 2cents
if you have TBI the spacer will work good but if you have EFI or multi port fuel injection it won't what you will need is a performance mass airflow sensor whivh summit and jegs sell i installed a new mass airflow sensor on my wifes Grand prix and let me tell you it made alot of difference in the performance
