I think so. I don't have a book but I think you are good if both clusters have the same gauge set ups. I am thinking the back housing changed along with the circuit board and speedometer in 1975 or 1976? Some one else help out here.
No, you wouldn't want the LFE light. I have one in my 1975, and it's about as annoying as a light can be. Especially at night - it'll just about blind you. It's amazing that after 34 years it still works - I expect it'll outlast the truck.

Cool, I've had mine 34 years this month.
I pulled that light bulb out of mine within the first couple months! :)
Later came the wiring and sensor and all.
I don't even remember where the vacuum sensor was. :)
