I have a 2001 Super Duty with a V-10 & am considering putting a chip & new throttle body on the truck. I am looking for anyone that knows where I can get the throttle body from & if this combination will work good together. Thanks for your help.
I have the same truck, motor, etc. I have a supercharger and a chip. You can use a chip with a throttle body upgrade as long as you tell them what you have when you order the chip. Caveat Emptor: They will both void your warranty with Ford. I learned the hard way.
It is illegal for a dealer to void your warranty because of a chip. If they try, contact the chip maker and give them the details. Federal law prohits voiding the warranty simply by adding an aftermarket chip.

I'd like to here about the supercharger.I have a feeling that is what voided the warranty. Maybe Ken could answer that one for me.
Putting the supercharger on it does not void the warranty. However, if you damage the engine as a result of putting the supercharger on it, Ford will not cover that repair. They cannot void the entire warranty, they can only refuse to cover a repair cause by the addition of an aftermarket part and the burden of proof is on them.
Hi Guys,
I use my v-10 for occasional towing and added a K&N AirRaid intake filter system, a 3" catback exhuast system, and a Diablo chip. They can program the chip for your needs and I had mine set for good HP and good torque. It really made a big difference. You might want to check these out before adding a blower. FYI.
