i am in the process of picking up my new e450 2v v-10 from the upfitter tomorrow and found out there was a tsb (05-09-15) for the throttle body. i had them run an oasis on my 3v v-10 and it had the same tsb. they would not let me have a copy and only had a quick glance to the effect of maybe the tps sensor and such. anyone have this checked out?
My dealer loves me and will print any thing I ask for. These are expensive and very complicated machines. Bribe, get drunk, cajole, what ever you have to do to get your service rep to love you!
I just had oasis print on my vin last week cuz I wanted to see what the new recall for fuel lines was all about. It was the only issue for my vin...nothing on throttle body, throttle position sensor, and not any thing on the gas pedal either.
She did have to sift through a bunch of diesel motor TSBs to see if there were any gas engine stuff.

I think all those oily TSBs are coming up because of the "Y" engine code for the new V10. When I put my vin in the myford website, it said I had a diesel. Looks like the "Y" used to be for the 6.0 back in '03 or '04. Going to be a while before they get all the V10 & PSD stuff straightened out in their VIN decoders I guess.
Yes, the 8th position of the VIN indicates engine. My 8th digit is "Y". Previous V10s had "S". So, I assumed that the letter changed with the new 3V design. Maybe not?
my 05 3v has a 'y' and my 05 2v has a 's' and both showed under ARN Messages- "Attention techs and service mangers: before replacing throttle body (-9E926-) see TSB 05-09-15." in addition, the pickup had the 'fuel line retainer clip install' what is that all about?
