i REALLY doubt it i would bet the spring perches are different and if not the axles are different lengths so you would need a new driveshaft

don't know from experiance though you could go to a junk yard and measure how wide the springs on one of those trucks is and measure how far apart the pearches for the springs are and that would give you a pretty good idea

I second jk89cat. Get a 10.25" full-floater out of a F250/F350: stronger axle, easier conversion.

It is very possible, there are a few guys on here that have done it. You can use a Dana 44 out of an older truck or a Dana 60. With the coil spring/radius arm setup it is harder than leaf springs, but it is doable. Post a seperate thread about the front end swap and I am sure a few people who have done it will chime in with their advice.

That is correct. You would need 8 lug wheels for the 10.25" with at least 16" wheels to clear the brakes. I did not think about that.

i would stick to a 9in there are cheaper parts available from the aftermarket and i doubt you'll break it i have a 600hp nitrous bigblock motor infront of a 9in in my t-bird that's basically stock minus a spool 31 spline axles and gears and no problems yet, if you don't think it's enough get a N case with the big bearings and your good

my friends father has a 9" factory with speed sensor in his '94 4X4 F-150. Very do-able. But also very hard to find. I've been looking for one for about 3 years.

do you REALLY need ABS? you could get some disc brakes for the 9in and be in good shape without ABS

yes but on the later year trucks that's where you get your speed signal is off the rear diff.

its all electric but I'm sure someone makes an electric sender that bolts into the tail shaft of a cable tranny or transfer case. Depending on 4X2 or 4X4
