Chevy 1500 starting problems
Hey all, a buddy of mine has a 2006 chevy 1500 4x4 with the 5.3 V8, his check engine light is on, he took it to several different places and they all came back passenger(i think) bank running rich, so he replaced the oxygen sensor on that side, disconnected the battery to reset the computer, now what its doing is when he starts it it runs really rough for like 3 seconds than clears up and runs fine, so you what do you thinks wrong, im all ears, thanks in advance!

If I have this right, it runs rough for a short time EVERY time it start.
Could still have something making it rich. ( injector or whatever)
Theory
New O2 sensor is getting the computer to change the fuel trim faster, but something is still making it rich. Computer is just leaning it out.
Might be able to check the trim with a good scan tool. If one bank is a lot different from the other, there's probably still something wrong.
