Yep, the 1967 Ranchero was the only year that shared the same sheet metal as the 1966 and 67 Fairlane. I think the 66-67 Fairlane and Mercury cyclone are awesome looking cars, I love the stacked headlamps! Thanks for the compliments!

BTW, it looks like you did an awesome job on the exterior.

I got lucky with the upholstry, the previous owner had the interior re done in red and white some time ago. The seat and the carpet just need a good cleaning. I need to find a replacement pass door armrest and pad, mine got damaged cause there just plastic and a new liner for the glove box and thats really it. Thanks for the compliments!

Hello everyone!

It sure has been a long winter here in chicago! The snow is finally all gone! Ive got a box of new emblems and misc parts that need to be installed for the summer. I picked up some new shocks to replace the 45 year old ones that are still on the car. As soon as theres room in my shop, its up on the lift for the new shocks and time to have fun putting the finishing touches on. The only major thing I have yet to do is get the rear bumper re-chromed. Ill be at the FCA national meet in Dearborn, MI this july. If anyones gonna be in the area come and take a look at all the awesome Falcons that'll be on display. My ranchero and I will be there!

It finally has all its new emblems on, I think it turned out pretty well over the last year!
Here is a picture of it at the 2010 Falcon Club of America National Conference in Dearborn, MI:

One of the best trips I have ever been on. Met a lot of great folks, and to top it all off, we got to drive our cars on Ford's factory test track!

Here is a picture of the rear with its newly re-chromed bumper and correct tail lights. I also found a set of NOS license plate lights:

Thanks to all who gave compliments and advice along the way!

That is a very cool project! And you weren't kidding about it being solid! I've always thought that the Rancheros were cool vehicles.
