I've seen alot of DIY intakes for these trucks but never anything like this

Huh...interesting place for the intake. Nothing like soaking up all that hot engine air.
No sound at the office, I'll have to check it out at home. Looks like you'd need a hole in the hood.

Yeah, there is no way that hood is gonna close. I love these homemade intakes made by people to replace that the stock intake does a pretty good job at bringing in cool air with some ugly thing that sucks nothing but hot, underhood air.
