and the pump was stuck and with a little cleaning its moving freely by now it is leeaking from this lilltle hole on the top/side of the water pump is it supposed to be a vent hole or just plugged ?
its the one with the steam runnig out of the hole its where there is no bolt
2pazr, that is a weep hole and is not supposed to be plugged. Leaking from that area indicates that the shaft seal is leaking. Time for a new waterpump.
Also, when you remove your waterpump, it's a good idea to label what bolts came from what holes. I have no experience with Y-blocks, but I know with some small block fords, the length of the bolts vary depending on location and can lead to some headaches if you mix them up.
See the circled part on your picture below? That is a Spectre fuel pressure regulator. They are junk. I don't know why you'd have one on a stock engine with a stock fuel pump, but I would shuck it out in the trash at the first opportunity. You ought to elimninate as much rubber fuel hose as possible, too, you have way too muych up near the fan to be safe.
the stock fuel lines were cracked and rotted and i couldnt get the pump to work so just went to auto zone and grabbed an electic pump to stick in the gas can its only a temp fix trying to get it running
