Seats???

Like many Excursion owners...I want to switch to second row buckets. Has anyone tried seats out of a different donor truck, like an Expedition or Navagator? If you have second row excursion buckets for sale...please let me know. Thanks Ken.

The Expedition and Navi are a smaller vehicle, the seats should be a tiny bit narrower. I think you'd be further ahead looking at the option from the back row in the superduties.

Bucket Seats

I have the captain chairs from my X. I swapped them out for the bench. Mine are tan leather and are in great shape. I am selling them for $250. I can ship them seperate on a pallet banded and shrink wrapped. They weight about 100 lbs a piece. The mounting should be there as the frames are all stamped the same. If they mount differently, the holes should still be there in the metal, however they may not be there in the carpet, and you may have to cut your own. I have captains chairs and they're entirely self-contained. If I unbolted them and stuck them to a block of wood, they'd still function properly as they would in the truck. I will look on my seats this afternoon for that latch though and let you know if I find it.

Latch system

There is no latch system in any of the X's. The reason I read before I bought my 05 bench seat was because of the weight of the vehicle it wasnt required to have them. I wanted them but since this is the biggest SUV on the planet I am not worried about them in the belts.

As for the bolts...they are all pre drilled for either seats. You will have to go under the truck and drill out the carpet and padding to bolt them in. If you need anything else just hit me up.
