The front suspension and brakes (brakes: 6 cylinder) are identical: Upper/lower A arms, spindles, springs, spring perches, drums etc.

The pedals are not the same, neither is the bracket under the dash the pedals hang from.

Most people upgrade the front end using 1975/80 Granada/Monarch or 1968/71 Torino/Montego A arms, springs, spindles, etc. because the original A arms aren't worth a damn.

They're called the miracle arms, because it they last 30,000 miles, it's a miracle!

Using the Granada or Torino front suspension allows you to convert to disc brakes, run larger wheels, which can be 14 or 15 inch.

This was a VERY popular conversion for years for Mustangs, Falcons and Fairlanes thru 1967.

Did you happen to see if your wheels are 13 or 14 inch with FOUR lugs?

The V8 Mustangs and Falcon's use different spindles, brake drums, and etc., because the wheels are FIVE lug.

Another reason to upgrade the front end.
