Fill the reservoir with oil. Double check the high pressure hoses to make sure they're on good. Double check to make sure the IPR is plugged in and the nut on the back is secure.
Remove the IDM fuse so it won't start and crank it for about 5 seconds a few times to fill the HPOP and then check the HPOP reservoir and add oil if necessary. Put IDM fuse back in and see if it will fire.

I like the sound of that. You wouldnt happen to know which fuse it is off the top of your head. Filled the res. up with clean oil.
The correct number for the '02 model year is #105, but it is in the exact same position.
Edit: I think there is only a difference in the reference number... the owner's manual I copied my diagram from refers to "Location" numbers, while the one Robin posted from the Shop Manual identifies the locations with a different nomenclature. All the same... it's the exact same location in the panel.
might be different between your early and the 2002 he's working on, Robin. did you give him the fuse number from yours or an 02??
I actually got that from a 2002-2003 diagram. I added the diagram to my post 7. I guess that diagram sucks when it comes to fuse numbers. It actually came from an online owners manual.
Okay -- cool. I was on my phone and couldn't tell exactly what was what there...
Joe,
I got my Owner's Manual Fusing confused with my Wiring Diagram for Fusing and Relays. The wiring diagram I have has different designations for the fuses and relays then the Owner's Manual.
No! Had a fuel line leak and had to go get orings at Ford. Got the one that was leaking fixed and decided to do all new orings on the other 3 lines associated with the bowl since the kit came with them. Went to put the top line back on the driver side back on and the threaded port broke off! Now we have to do new fuel lines
