I have a thing going on with my clutch that i don't understand, in the morning when it's cold i put it in gear & when i start to engage the clutch the truck jerks or jumps until clutch is fully engaged. This only happens in 1st. gear & once the truck is warmed up it operates normally. so what do ya'll think, is this something that i should be concerned about?

Mine does the same thing. It's been that way for almost 7 years, but has lately developed. I think it may be the pressure plate or possibly weak springs in the flywheel on the DMF.
Organic pads on both brakes and clutches swell up when the moisture is high.
As soon as you use either, the heat cooks the humidity out.
New Orleans and humidity.
I remember so much condensation dripping off my reefer trailer down there I thought it had rained while I was sleeping.
Big drip marks all the way around the trailer perimeter, in a dusty parking lot.
Or maybe someone slipped me some of that stuff they slipped Peter Fonda in Easy Rider.
ya you've got it, it not the heat it's the humidity that will do you in, during the summer you walk out of an air conditioned building & it feels like someone just threw a hot wet blanket on you.
