left bank not contributing, REP
I have a 2000 F-150 4x4 157,000 miles. I bought it wrecked, took 8 months to get fixed. Ran good then, moved it around several times in the repair process, ran OK. Got it all ready for the road and suddenly could not get it out of the drive, NO POWER. Idles fine, as soon as you put in gear stalls or runs with no power. Dealer ran tests and concluded left bank not contributing, interrnal engine concerns, converters plugged, $7000+ to repair. Needless to say, I have done every test in the manual and cannot find the problem. Engine, REP 0G842AA, 09/30/99, is on the stand with the timing and valve covers off. All seems OK but still can't find the problem. Any thaughts appreciated.
