window vents

hey,
I just bought a new truck (new to me, that is) and the guy before me put those vent things that go voer the window on it, and i can't open the wing windows, theyre in the way! How would one go about removing these? are they just stuck on there, will it hurt the paint to just pull them off? thanks.

I think they're just held on with double-sided tape. Try CAREFULLY peeling them off on a warm, sunny day, but if you question whether there'll be a problem, you may want to visit your local auto body supply shop. They should sell a paint-friendly adhesive remover that is made for releasing moldings, emblems, and other items stuck to your truck.

I used a heat gun to get them off a truck I bought. Just don't hold it in one spot long enough to fry the paint.
