Hello world! Today at work I bashed my tail gate pretty bad, and I need to replace it. I've already Googled, and checked Ebay for a F350 tail gates, but I feel that I've come up with crap. Then my next idea was to join a forum to get expert advice on the situation. So, here I am.
Location: Houston, Tx. off FM-1960 in between 45 and 249. It's a 2000 F350 Superduty Duly - 7.3L - White. So, I would need a white OEM tail gate, or one of those vented ones in black for cheap.
If any one has advice, site links, or locations please point me in the right direction.
Use this as an opportunity to slap on an 08+ tailgate, check your local truck outfitters for take off tailgates that might be selling for cheaper, more often then not you will find white ones there anyways.
Ed /FTE parts guy is a sponsor here and will make sure that you have no issues getting your NEW tailgate. No guaranties from random places/people online. Either way its up to you. I only mentioned Ed because he is a part of the family here at FTE. And I would rather buy from someone i can trust and spend extra money.

Hey Kris did you damage the latch handle on the tail gate? If not let me know I have to replae the latch handle on my truck due to my own stupidity.
I have a whole tailgate down in Elkhorn if you want to buy one. It is a little shatty, but it works alright. I was kind of looking to sell it to help finance my 08 gate
On a side note, Whose tractor is that???
What happened to the Badger State boys down in Louisville? Was there a rule change that made them not competitive? By that I mean not taking the top of every single Super Farm show
Unless you need a bunch of parts that I can put on a pallet it is best to buy local, to many times trucking companys do not handle freight with the best care and you receive sheet metal parts damaged. I could always put just the tailgate on a pallet but min shipping would be in the $90 range.
