Used turbo

I've posted this before but I found another used turbo setup for my 7.3 IDI. The only concern I have is it is on a blown motor and there is water int he oil. So, what kind of damage could there be to the turbo or should I worry? The system is still on the vehicle and completely sealed as installed.

Worst case senario you have to get an overhaul kit for the turbocharger. Check the play in the turbo shaft and see if the wheel can touch the housing. Slop from side to side is Ok as long as it doesn't touch the housing. In and out is not acceptable and would require a rebuild.

Also, it would be better if the turbo is by ATS and not Banks, as rebuild kits for the Garrett turbos ATS uses are easily obtainable, which is not quite the case with the Mitsubishi turbos Banks chose to work with.
