went to the wrecking yard last week and picked up a 78-79 grille for my '76 and found a great bumper/grille guard from a wrecker. it was on a early 80's F350. i'd like to see other custom bumpers you all have!
chopped&dropped, sorry I can't help you on that one. that bumper was on the truck when I bought the truck.
tankrsc, that's a great setup on this truck. back in the 80s my dad went to California for a trip with school. they went to where Simon and Simon was based out of (sorry don't know a lot about Cali). he said they let him sit in that old Dodge.........course nowadays they probably wouldn't let you even see it!
thanks. I just noticed that you can't see it in the pics - but I put a dimple died plate on that center section for a step. It worls pretty well and looks really cool - I just don't have a great pic of it. You can kind of see it here...
I like the design I have in mind for the crew even better than that one. It will have a hitch tied into it as well. I was going to do this on that tacoma one, but the way the tailgate sits low and how big the spare tire is changed my design a bit...
My front will hopefully be a bent plate one - similar to the Warn products. I plan on doing a cad design that can be repicated/built again easily in case it turns out good and people want to buy them!
