upgraded ford studs?

I found a set of 140,000 psi head studs will these be comparable to the arp studs or are these not very good (these are supposedly ford studs)

I would go with ARP's personally. ARP's are rated at 190,000 psi strenght. The 6.0 needs all it can get.

Oops. The ARP's are rated at 220,000. Are you sure you are looking at upgraded studs and not the bolts?

Ford doesn't make headstuds they only make head bolts. Whoever is trying to sell you those is trying to scam you. Go with the ARP's and make sure your heads are flat.

those head bolts are made for Ford by a fastener Co. Your right about the scam, I ask an Ebayer who is selling (upgraded) bolts just for kicks. His reply was there the latest improved ones.

I would get the ARP's or H-11's. While both will serve you well, I suspect the H-11's may be on the brittle side with it's masive tensile strength.

With all of the work involved with changing them I wouldn't even consider anything but the ARP's.

If there's even a chance that these "cheaper" studs will fail, think of the costs of paying/doing two HG jobs vs one HG job.

To me it's not even an option!
