Anyone try these batteries???

Has anyone tried/use any of these batteries???

Odyssey Drycell Automobile Batteries

I would wonder if any of these would be suitable for the IDI's....Im looking at buying new batteries, but these are out of my price range....Arent the cranking amps awfully high??? Would the battery cook the starter??? or make it turn over UBER-fast?? I think Im gonna stick with the $150 walmart pair.....but these things are outrageous....2100 CA?? About 1800 CCA then???-just for one battery?

IMO, the cables and starter are more important than the battery.

Two 850 CCA is all you need........ Wallymart has 1000CCA at a good price which some members use. I have used Ford batteries since day one..... I'm on my first replacement set since OEM..... still with excellent results.... cost was about $250cdn FOR 2.

I have a buddy that has these in a boat, hasn't had any problem. I use optimas in my trucks. I like the no maintenance no spilled battery acid.

Southern Delaware as in Delmar?

The highest CCA Interstates that would fit. I've had trouble with other brands puking acid and making more problems.
I've had my Interstates 4 years, have ran them down to noting (accidently leaving stuff on when it sits for an extended time) and they come right back up with a charge.

I'm with Jason, I have two Interstate 1050's, and I've killed them twice already, but once I get the truck fired up, they're all charged up in less than 15 minutes.

I have seen these batteries used heavily in the Offroad race community for there size, weight and durability.

These vehicles are driving in harsh conditions at high speed with alot of vibrations and movement usually turning over high compression LS7 or so.

For our application I don't see the need in spending the extra money for these.
