I mostly just like to read as much as I can from the site cause you guys usually have good info. I have a Job1 and have been having problems with it (at highway speeds) surging. 250-300 rpm. Not enough to cause a problem but enough to notice it. Has anyone else had this problem? I would take it to the dealer but since its intermitent I know they will say NPF. Other than that I really like the truck.
When I have 14,000 lbs. or more attached to the back of my truck the weight plays with the truck a little at times and it gets funny if I don't settle it down.
It's like the weight of the trailer wants to accelerate faster than the truck does so it pushes forward on the drivetrain, jumps me forward a bit and my foot pushes the accelerator a little and we kind of get this jerking back and forth going.
It's not the truck, it happens to any truck when there is enough weight behind you to mess with things.
If I was towing something I would agree with you, however this is empty but does what your talking about. Its like hitting bumps and your foot moves the throttle back and forth just enough to make it anoying.
