I really would NOT mix Mercon V and Mercon SP. I am fairly certain that the power steering fluid is the same as the tranny fluid in manual transmissions. That means it is Mercon V. Mixing the two in transmissions is certainly bad - I am assuming it is a no-no in the PS fluid as well.
