ford explorer door locks
i have a 96 explorer and the rear door would not open. eventually by jiggling manually the door lock it released, but when you close door it wont open and you have to do the same again. any ideas?

explorers
if the door lock wont let you shut the door the rotator has gone too far. if you get a screwdriver and push in laterally into the lock the this will release the locking mechanism. may have to jiggle a bit until you find the right spot.
