Exhaust sound
Does anybody have sound samples of their exhaust on a 2 valve V-10? I am getting ready to install headers and I am going to put an aftermarket muffler on at the same time. I am leaning towards a Magnaflow non-chambered style but I would like to hear some samples before I make my final decision.

Overall, the muffler's are going to sound close regardless of the motor. The v10 will pulse faster than a v8, but for the most part they will attenuate the same frequencies. I believe magnaflow has a lot of video/audio clips of their mufflers. As does some of the other manufactures. I personally like the Magnaflow and Corsa muffler's sound, Dynomax ultraflow and Gibson come in second. Spin Tech is another choice that sounds good, but is a little too loud for me.
Also remember unless you have a great speaker system, your speakers may not reproduce all of the frequencies. LAME MP3 and many other codecs don't record all of the frequencies either. To hear it closer to real life, you need to find lossless recordings played on a full range audio system. Or hear them in real life.
