As stated in my other post "Flutter Problem" can a CPS be messing up and still not throw a code? By the way had the codes checked at an AutoZone with a hand held, are they reliable?
Changing CPS today and hope it works or I'll be taking into a deal $$$$. Unless there's someone on here from Wichita Ks that might be able to help.
CPS failures do all kinds of strange things. I wouldn't rule it out. Go to Ford and pick up a replacement or if you haven't had the recall performed, have them replace it on their dime. X3 - Autozoo can't read our truck codes.
Can a CPS cause a lot of whitish blue smoke and no other symthons
The reason I ask is a couple years ago I started my truck and it was like a fogger.I origioaly blamed it on cool temps and maybe didn't run glow plugs, but after about 25 minutes it didn't go away
I changed the CPS and it never done it again.Coincidence?
I know that retarded injecto timing will cause the symtom I had
