Do You have an ohm meter available? You could ring out your contacts that way. That's how I would do it, I have never used one. Sorry I'm not more help

You need a DPDT switch. Here is all the info you should ever need about switches. If you have a DVM ohm out the connections to familiarize yourself with the configuration.

Need a little more to go on, but when you say 6 prong, you probably mean DTDP - double throw, double pole. You would have 2 different commons, and the switch would connect the commons to the respective terminals (up or down) when you flipped the switch. So flip it up: common 1 to up terminal 1, and comon 2 to up terminal 2. Flip it down and it is the same thing, just replace the word up with down.

No as to what you are trying to do with it, I have no clue...

You can use the switch you have. You will need relay if the circuits need isolation.

What are you trying to do with the switch?

Ok Ill try to explain it.
On a plow obivously you have a UP, Down, Left and Right, Plus Power

Basically to make the plow go up, you have to make the pump go on, to make it go left or right, you have to power either of those wires plus the pump wire. I took the Pump Wire and Spliced it 3 ways, 1 to the raise position wire, 1 with the left wire and 1 connected with the right wire. Well the problem is, no matter what switch I hit, it gives them all power at the same time(DOHHH) I found out I need a 6 Prong Ended Switch to eliminate this.

Hmmmm...

I think you need another switch. Your DPDT momentary rocker should work for R-L operation. One set of contacts for pump power and R solenoid, the other for pump power and L solenoid. The pump obviously needs to be powered through a relay, which one set of contacts in either position would pick up. The second set of contacts would be wired to open the hydraulic solenoid valve for that cylinder, be it right of left.

As far as raise/lower goes, you would need the second DPDT switch. If you have hydraulic solenoid valves on that cylinder for both raise and lower, then it's pretty much a repeat of the right/left wiring. Most units that I'm aware of just have a gravity lower function so of course you would just leave the pump relay contacts from the switch unwired for lowering the plow.

You will need to check the current draw of the solenoids to make sure the switches you use are rated to handle the power. You could also use relays to operate the solenoids. It would make for a more complex system but you would not need the heavier switches or wiring running into the cab.

Make sure you fuse everything with properly rated fuses and use heavy enough wiring. It is better to go a little heavier with the wiring than bare minimum and fuse just above rated amp draw for your components.

I hope this helps give you a basic idea on how to do it. If you have any more questions I'll be glad to help answer them.

It sounds to me like you have it pretty much done, but you need to diode isolate the solenoids from pump circuit. I think what is happening in your design is power is jumping from the pump feed back into the other solenoids.

Or you can use two relays per direction. One to run the solenoid and one to turn the motor on. You can use diodes here again and use only 5 relays.

Not sure how you make the plow come down, but you don't need the pump for that. I think you just energize the up solenoid without running the pump.

Just use two three prong switches and put the 12volts to the center term. and jump it over to the other center term. on the second switch.

I got it figured out with the plow company. My controller was stolen thats why I did this.
07 has it right except for the wire that crosses over the the pump terminal on the up and down switch has to be spliced in with the Pump wire on one terminal.
