2000 exp po1401 engine code
Hi I have a 2000 exp with the 4.6 engine. I have replaced the pdfe and the pcm relay. I have also cleaned the egr valve and cleaned out the carbon out of the throttle body. I dont know what else to do. Could it be the ecm? I have noticed that the transmission in not going into gear like it is suppost to. It may just be due for a new filter but I have heard sometimes these symptoms are related. I am sure that you guys have talked about this a thousand times so if there is a thead that I could look at it would really help. Thanks for looking Jamie

I bought the dpfe from ford dealer. I pulled the vaccum line off of the egr valve today. At idle I am getting a pulsating low vaccum coming from the DPFE sensor. I unplugged the sensor and got no change. Then I tried to unplugg the ecm sensor and got no change again. I think that I got a defective DpFE sensor. I think the diaphram in it may be bad.
