On Super Tour 4 in 2006, we left CA with 24 F-100 pickups headed to The F-100 Supernationals in Tenn. --- The "wagon master" had a train horn setup under the hood that worked better than a P A system when it was time to hit the road -- real LOUD !!!
Don't know where he got it (used - the real thing ) had it chromed - looked real good!!
I couldn't afford the train setup, so I got a set of Sparton firetruck air horns off ebay for $40, they are still LOUD as heck, and alot cheaper. Just an option, not as cool as train horns though.
my buddy has one on his Diesel Expo and it sounds awesome. drive down a strip with a bunch of bars on a nice night and watch everyone jump when that thing blows. So much fun!!! check out hornblasters.com if you want to see some sets.
