I have a 2003 F-350 4x4 DRW and my sway bar end links are shot...I would like to replace the front and rear sway bars and end links with the heaviest ones possible. Could anyone tell me what I should buy? Thanks!
I just spent 184.00 and change, on the front two end links alone. My sway bar end links in the front were shot (rusted severely, and the rubber around the bushings was tore open). I just got the factory replacements from a ford dealer.
I could do that but I do alot of towing and if there was something out there that was heavier and would do a better job, I thought now would be a good time to "upgrade".
I don't know of any upgrades for the front. A couple of different companies make add on kits for the rear, but I don't believe there is any benefit over the factory version.
You should do well off to replace the links and bushings with either Polyurethane upgrades or just stock replacements. MOOG makes replacement bushings that are good quality, and energy suspension has a kit to replace the bushings and the sway bar link bushings but it requires some significant "persuasion" to get the old ones out.
