I have seen some SD with spots and fogs/floods light behind a stock grill. I realise that I may have to do some customising behind the grill, that's ok but I still want the OEM look without any external mods done to the front. Has anyone hot some name brands or model number for these lights. I would like to put two spots and two fogs/floods behind the grill. Any suggestion?
Cut some mounting plates out of steel or aluminum to mount the lights to the header panel. Drill the plates to bolt them to the header panel and to bolt the light to the plate. I sprayed mine with rubberized undercoating since I used steel and then bolted them up and wired up the lights.
My lights came with a wiring harness and switch so I just used that.
DCSpecial what type of lights are they? I notice that you have two different types. Can you supply me with the model names or numbers as well. That is exactly what I want.
do you think that may have anything to do with the grill emblem in front of your driving lights? I've been thinking of doing this upgrade, but using rectangular driving lights in the center to allow unobstructed light distribution. (Well, less obstruction. I realize the grill will diffuse some of the light)
