I'm looking to get a soft tonneau cover and am having a tough time deciding. Any opinions on Extang Black Max versus the TekStyle versus the SportMaster? Thanks for your help.
I have the Spormaster on mine. Its not too bad, just make sure you dont take it on and off too much, the rubber feet on the bows tend to wear, and when going about 100 down the highway, they will get pushed all the way to the back off the bed(personal experience, hehe). Also, if you plan to take off the rails, dont leave it in the sun too much, the foam padding melted to the truck bed on mine, other than that, good basic cover for the money (bout $250 locally).
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 20-Sep-02 AT 08:09 AM (EST)]I've got an Extang Full Tilt Tonno on my '01 F150 and I love it. I needed a soft tonneau because I haul an ATV in the bed and I wanted someting easy to remove. The Full Tilt is pretty easy to use and does a great job, except that it is not fully water tight.
