Test drove a 2009
This was a 2009 f150XL 2wd reg cab long box 4.6L 2 valve V8, meat and potato's work truck. With the only option I could spot was the side steps. Which were quite impressive I might add.
Coming from a 95 f150 base model truck, this thing felt like a million bucks. I was pretty blown away at how solid and smooth the ride was. And I was enjoying the V8's power.. I could get used to the automatic transmission too.
I personally gave it a 9.5 out of 10, it has everything I need and nothing I don't. The only flaw I could find was those hideous tail lights with the chrome inside. I really hope someone makes an aftermarket one to replace it, But the $6000CAN rebate off the sticker lets me forget about them for now.
End of the day and I'm sold. Hope to be picking one up in the next couple months.
It's hard for me to imagine a vehicle with 5 years of worry free warranty - can't wait!

Good to here you like the truck there pretty sweet. I test drove one as well. It blew me away on everything.From build qualiy to ride an great looks. I drove one off those sharp looking blue trucks. Down the road i got lot off looks.. Hope you can get an enjoy. Keep us posted on what you decide to do.
