Computer bad

Computer bad
94 f-150 4.9, engine died, no spark, fuel pump not running, purchased a code reader and it would not get past the self test, also noticed the check engine light is not illuminating..bad computer?

could be but i bet bad connection somewhere.

start with battery cables and computer harness.
