intercoolers
will pretty much any intercooler work like say a stock cummins or d max intercooler bc i found a stock 2001 lly intercooler that is a little bit bigger than a powerstroke intercooler for about 150 bucks on ebay i know id have to do some fab work but would it work

The heighth and depth are not that critical but you have to be concerned with the width. You only have a limited amount of space where the pipes can go thru the radiator support betweeen the radiator and light assemblies. For that price you should be able to find one from a 7.3 or 6.0.
You're going to give these guys an ego, careful...
