My 93 long bed is beautiful. There are so many 92 - 96 F150s on the road and I always smile when I see a nice clean one in traffic. The new 09 is a beautiful truck too.

1. 92-96 F-150
2. 78-79 F-150 (Square headlights seal the deal.)
3. 56 F-100
4. 05-07 S/D
5. 09 F-150
6. 04-08 F-150
7. 08-09 S/D

Maybe I'm a little partial on the first two though!!

I was thinking we should add a poll to this thread so we can measure the results.

Go here for a lot of Ford history by model year: (Covers from the 30's thru the 90's, not just the 80's.)
HowStuffWorks "1980-1989 Ford Trucks"

Couple of my favorites from that website:

I own a 92-96 body style so that has to be one of my favorites. Its the newest body style I like.

I like the 80's body style. I really like the 56 F100 or what about the mid to late 60's. Those trucks are sweet!

I would just say that they are all good except for the new ones.

Well the Super Duty body style until the last year or so looks good.

Maybe the 99-07's. The '08-09's look like the Griswold's Family Truckster from the front.

I haven't seen it mentioned, but I think the best looking Ford truck was the '40.

Also like
48-51 F1
59-60
Bumpsides
Dentsides- 77 grille looks the best, IMO
92-97 F350's. Last real truck with leaf springs, stout drivetrain true locking hubs and great lines
