2000 Expedition CD changer

2000 Expedition CD changer
The cd player displays empty mag. I filled the mag with cd's and the player tries to get a read on each and then the "empty mag" message pops on.
Anyone have this trouble? I tried to swap the magazine out with my '00 Excursion but it is a different type.

I will get some pictures of my CD changer in my 1997 as I think it is the same unit as in my 2000. It works fine but we are parting out the 1997. I don't have the slightest idea what to ask however but first lets try to confirm it looks the same.

It looks like the sticker that had the model info is rubbed off to the point I can't make it out but here are some pics:
How about $45 shipped with the casset if this looks like yours? I will try to get you as much of the wire as I can but if that runs under the carpet that will be a mess to get free so it will just be a few inches. I think the pug to the wire should snap out too and I do have the Ford Shop Manuals so I can figure it out if you are interested.
