Tonneau Cover

Hi, I have an 86 F150 flareside and was thinking about putting on a tonneau cover. I don't want to drill or modify the bed. Is there anything out there like I'm looking for? I've seen the clamp on deal, but don't see how it would work with my old flareside. TIA:-)

I've heard alot of good things about the Truxedo covers. They come in different colors at no additional cost, require no drilling, fit fairly flush, and you can roll the bows up with the tarp. I've been looking at one myself. I did not want the snap type or anything with a clip in rail. Everyone seems to love the Truxedo.

Thanks for the response. I'll have to look into that one. The thing is, I think they somehow (the ones I've seen so far) clamp onto the inside flange of the bed. My 86 flareside dosn't have anything like that in the bed, it is smooth all the way up.

i would look in to the Retrax. IT is a hard roll up type cover. They can make a cover for any truck. Take a look at their web site www.rolltopcover.com If you give them a call they will be able to get a cover for your truck.

Thanks for the lead, but again no application for my truck. The clamp on is what I really want, but none of the clamp on deals fit my bed. The 86 flareside has no overhang into the bed to clamp to.

Retrax should be able to make one that will attach to the stakepokets so that it will be able to be secured into place. call and tell them your situation. 1-800-206-4070

The "Access" covers look very nice and require no drilling from what I can tell.

OOps. The flairside deal changes things remarkably.

Unless there is something that goes into the post holes, I don't think you're gonna get there without drilling.
