Fuel issues....

I had another post but I can't find it. I used search and even google site search.... didn't find it so I'm starting a new one. Sorry.

I posted about my rear tank not working. Everyone said its typical for the crossover switcher valve thing on the frame rail to go out. But today I replaced the fuel filter cause mine was so rusty I was suprised it heald fuel! Well that made no difference.

BUT I have noticed that on the rear tank I can dive around up to about 35MPH just fine. Any faster then it stumbles and starves out. So now I'm thinking the rear pump is weak?

So would you all think this too? or still go with replacing the switcher valve thing?

Thanks,
Jim

rent a fuel pressure guage and see what ur pressure is. The way i have to switch tanks on my truck is jump the self test connector to let fuel pump run without key and switch the tanks and wait till i hear the fuel returning to the tank i have it switched to.
