seat removal

Looking to remove my front seats, but the torque-head on the bolts are slightly bigger that any torque in my tool arsenal. Anyone know what size of torque to use?

I cant remember the size but my local Advance let me take a few outside to see what size I needed. Brought them all back in and bought the one I needed!

I think it's a 20.
I found the Torx socket set (6 in a tray) on sale at Sears and figured I would use the others some time in the future. I was right....
Also at Harborfreight for $6.

Something else recently must have been a 20.
The set I bought at Sears had what was required.

If they haven't ever been taken out before,its kinda hard to get them out. Its got a caulk or something on them. But when you put them back in,you can almost run them down with your fingers.

Yea, they have a sealant on them since they go completely thru the floor and are exposed underneath the truck. I put teflon tape on mine when I reinstalled them just to be on the safe side...
