The stupid little tiny bolt that holds the COP onto the intake manifold, does it provide a ground or something that controls the cop performance? The reason I am asking is cause I have one that is broken and I just zapstrapped the COP to the intake for now.
I have onother thread up here that is helping me through these troubles that i am having. If you look on the "oil sludge on oil cap" thread you can find the info it there, thanks.
The bolt does not ground the coil, but it does hold it down and in the proper location to make connection to the spark plug.
If the COP is not held down far enough, it may not make connection to the plug.
I will be drilling out and tappin a new bolt into place, it is in a easy spot to get to (LH front). I was having trouble with it before this happened though.
