all the 4 wheel drive parts are interchangeable. so that wont be a problem. the difference between the 7.3 diesel and non diesel is that one is a diesel and one isnt lol. if you mean what is the difference between the turbo and the non turbo, then the difference is that the non turbo is indirect injection and the 94.5 and up psd is direct injection. the 7.3 turbo(non psd) from 92 to 94 was also indirect injection. i wouldnt think there would be any problems switching the engines over as long as you transfer all the electronics for the fuel injection over. its kind of like putting a fuel injected 5.0 in an 83 mustang that came with a carbed 302.

Motor parts themselves are a bit different, but the motor/tranny mounts, belhousing, cab/box mounts etc, are all the same. I took the tranny and transfercase, and front axle from a '93 and put them on my '96. Well, OK, the axle isn't on yet, but soon. It all bolts straight up.
