Drivers Side Lean

I've got an '08, 2wd, 3L. It's got a lean to the drivers side of about 1/2". Tires are properly inflated, it does it whether the tank is full or not, nothing has been done to the suspension, etc. Has anyone run into this before?

does it have that air ride suspension . is more in the front or the back if so the then then coil spring on the strut could be bad or the rear shock hard to say

our 08 xlt 4x4 3.0 also has this drivers side lean from 0 miles and only 2000 miles on it now. it is 1/2-3/4" if i remember correctly. i haven't done anything about it nor brought it up with the dealer, but it does bug me sometimes when seeing it. curious if anyone else replies about it or if you bring it up to your dealer what the outcome is... btw, it appears to be the same at both the front and the back of the drivers side on mine.

The only time I have seen a lean in a new car is due to shipping. When they strap them down, sometimes they get a little too excited with the process and ratchet them down hard. When this happens it puts a "memory" into the suspension. Only way to fix it is replace the components, struts or springs.

This discussion was had in the Ranger forum sometime ago (a year or more) I remember, as my `99 Ranger had it, I wondered about it, and come to find-out, many others (all?) had it too.

I forget what the consensus was, but my best recollection was that it was simply a Ford "trait" (for lack of a more technical term).

I'll search through my old posts and see if I can find anything ...

My 06 Hybrid is slightly lower on the left back side than the right side. Don't know about the front. I had assumed it might be the battery. Interesting...
